re-entry on which price

hi @Ramneet , in backtest results, the new strike price selection fr re-entry (in buying momentum n re-momentum strategies) n re-entry happens on which price??

if in my strategy, if SL gets hit in the middle of the candle thn will it wait till candle close n will select banknifty candle close strike price n candle close price of that new strike (+momentum pnts) fr re-entry?

Hi varun, Yes you are right. In backtest, It will wait for candle close and at candle close it will select strike(as described in strike selection) and wait for momentum condition to fulfill to take rentry.

AlgoTest__Support__Sahil thanks Sahil, fr the clarity .. kindly also tell that in backtest results, in the momentum strategy, if i ve selected 9.16 as starting time, thn it is taking trade considering opening price of 9.16 candle (+momentum pnts)? in this opening 1st trade, it is nt taking closing price??
