Yes you need to login with your broker on AlgoTest everyday, and activate the strategies for the day. Once the strategies are activated, everything is running on cloud, so even if your computer's network is disconnected, your strategies are still running. For taking manual control of your strategy, or squaring it off before exit time(by clicking on Square Off button), you certainly need an internet connection.
