Kunjan Based on signal if I am taking a position in weekly options & the signal continues post weekly expiry will it rollover to the next expiry
Kunjan Ramneet Say i am working on buy/sell signals & taking positions based on that in options say if there is a buy signal i will short PE & sell signal will short CE say in weekly options. Now this signal doesnot change for the entire week say at the start of the week it gave a buy signal & i sold a PE of the weekly expiry. On the expiry day the sold PE became zero as the trade went in my favour but the signal still persists & there was no sell signal so how do i rollover for the next expiry because ideally there is no change in signal.
Ramneet Hi Kunjan, If you have selected weekly expiry during the build of strategy, then it will always take the current weekly. Secondly, positional is not available for live execution and forward testing currently.
